SPOILER ALERT - Flora's neighbor gets a Ulysses 2000X vacuum for her birthday. It is super strong and pulls her into her backyard where it sucks up a squirrel. Flora saves the squirrel and names him Ulysses. Ulysses is no ordinary squirrel but is he a superhero like Flora thinks? Either way, they become fast friends. And Flora, a self proclaimed cynic, could use a friend.
My favorite character so far is William Spiver. He is Flora's neighbor's nephew. He has temporary blindness induced by trauma.
